An experienced Cleaning Contract Manager is required to work for an independent facilities management company, education establishment cleaning experience would be particularly relevant. You will be based in Manchester for this role however there will be travel to Leeds, West Yorkshire from time to time.

The role
As the Cleaning Contract Manager, you will manage the operational staff from recruitment matters, to disciplinary action. You will ensure the high standards are maintained and carry out audits where required. Your other responsibilities will include:
Ensuring an on call team are available for short notice or sickness absence
Managing customer liaison
Reporting any and all machinery breakdowns
Ordering chemicals and consumables for the cleaning team
Ensure all contract budgets are met

Requirements
You must have recent experience and a proven track record of success within a similar role to be successful for this position. Education establishment cleaning is particularly welcome
