Primary Teacher needed in Morecambe

A Primary Teacher is needed for a 3-form entry Primary School in Morecambe. The Teacher will be required to support the school in KS2 and be flexible to support various classes across Years 3, 4, 5 & 6. Experience of PPA cover and small group work of intervention would be beneficial but not essential for this role.

The role is to support the school on a day to day basis which will be decided by the school.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy hardworking teaching team in Morecambe.

You will work with your dedicated consultant who will support you and guide you through your time in the school. To match your availability you will also have access to a variety of Primary Schools across Morecambe and Lancaster. You will have opportunities to be considered for long term roles as well as permanent positions.

Your responsibilities:

• Keep your consultant updated on availability weekly
• Work to a high standard in each role across the school
• Adapt to the school by following their policies
• Commit to your role fully with a professional attitude
• Be aware of safeguarding policies
• Follow marking procedures and leave handovers after each role
• Liaise with your consultant and school staff on a regular basis

To apply for this role the requirements are:

• QTS Status - newly qualified or qualified teacher
• Have recent classroom experienced within the last 12 months
• Able to teach across both Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2
• Able to provide two referees (one for a child setting)
• An enhanced level of DBS check
