NQT Primary Teacher Roles in Lancaster

I am recruiting for an NQT Primary Teacher to support a two-form entry primary school in Lancaster. The teacher will be required to support the school across a variety of roles using their strengths in teaching to develop children.

The role is to support the school on a day to day basis which will be decided by the school. You will be required to use your teaching experience in year groups across Key Stage 1 and 2.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy school environment where you feel valued and part of the school team. The school has a busy and enthusiastic feel in lovely idyllic setting.

You will work with your dedicated consultant who will support you and guide you through your time in the school. To match your availability you will also have access to a variety of Primary Schools across Lancaster and the South Lakes. You will have opportunities to be considered for long term roles as well as permanent positions.

The Primary Team at Randstad Education is a very successful team with a wealth of experience across Lancashire - this will mean you have access to other schools across Lancashire.

CPD opportunities are also available to develop skills and refresh training. We have a competitive daily rate and we will pay to parity in line with the Agency Worker Regulations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Keep your consultant updated on availability weekly
  • Work to a high standard in each role across the school
  • Adapt to the school by following their policies
  • Commit to your role fully with a professional attitude
  • Be aware of safeguarding policies
  • Follow marking procedures and leave handovers after each role
  • Liaise with your consultant and school staff on a regular basis

To apply for this role the requirements are:

  • QTS Status - newly qualified or qualified teacher
  • Have recent classroom experienced within the last 12 months
  • Able to teach across both Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2
  • Able to provide two referees (one for a child setting)
  • An enhanced level of DBS check

We are proud to support a diverse portfolio of schools. These schools range in size, catchment, religious background and ethos. Within these schools our Teachers support pupils of different ability levels, SEN, EAL and from many different home lives, cultures and backgrounds. We understand that every child is different so we carefully match our candidates with the schools and children to which they work with best.

Posts are subject to two satisfactory references and an up to date DBS clearance.

If you feel that you have these qualities and that this role is something that you would like to be considered for then please either e-mail your CV to Effie effie.sharp@randstadeducation.co.uk or call 01772 259966
