The role
The Bank Manager will be accountable for the operational running of the branch, including, branch controls / budgetary management and ensure that the branch is an integral part of communities served by building a business profile in the local community through introducer relationships, networking both internally & externally. You will create, implement and manage an effective strategy focusing on the business performance and employee development. The Bank Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering an outstanding customer experience, maximising new customer relationships whilst proactively retaining existing customer relationships and servicing the Private and small Business / Start-up client base.

About you
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a successful track record within Bank Management. You will Lead by example by doing the right thing, instilling pride in others, energising the team through personal passion and belief and making difficult risk weighted decisions. Identify, develop and transfer best practices to others, cascade relevant competitor and business information into the branch. Be highly competent at managing a budget that includes; salary costs, preventable fraud losses and cash errors. Have excellent relationship management skills and demonstrable capabilities of forging strong links throughout the local community. Be comfortable managing a portfolio of Private customers; actively focusing on growth and retention by establishing and implementing an appropriate contact strategy.
