Office Coordinator (Venues)
Salary £18,492 - £20,697 per annum. The role is a permanent full-time position. It offers an excellent working environment and benefits package including 38 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
Cardiff University Students’ Union (CUSU) has a vision of working with every Cardiff student to enhance their university experience. The trading subsidiary of CUSU, Cardiff Union Services Limited, manages a purpose built facility in the centre of Cardiff and operates cafes, shops, bars and events that help fund CUSU’s charitable activities. CUSU is based on Park Place and at the Heath Park campus, employing over 100 permanent staff and 300 student staff. The Venues Department boasts the largest licensed night time venue in Wales. It comprises six venues across the Students' Union including a Coffee shop, Cafe Bar, Pub, Nightclub and Live music venue. The department has responsibility for all provision of entertainment, bars and catering facilities and we deliver approximately 300 events per year.
We are looking for an Office Coordinator to provide a wide range of administrative services for our Venues Team.
The successful candidate will have general administrative experience and be able to evidence excellent written and verbal communication skills and be competent in using the full range of Microsoft office systems. You will be able to manage your time effectively whilst working in a fast moving environment. You will require dedication and commitment to meeting strict deadlines in delivering high quality services. You must be confident in working with all levels of staff and dealing with a number of different priorities. The open plan office is shared with other staff in a busy working environment with lots of visitors
