Our client, a prestigious organisation based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for a permanent Accounts and Payroll Assistant.
DUTIES:
* Purchase Ledger
* Sales Ledger
* Nominal Ledger
* Process sales invoices
* Produce bank, purchase and sales ledger reconciliations
* Arrange the payment of purchase invoices
* Arrange company banking of cheques
* Credit control
* Preparation payrolls and year end procedures.
* Production of daily and monthly account reconciliations.
* All associated filing to include bank statements, purchase invoices, payroll etc.
* The above list is not exhaustive and a flexible outlook is therefore essential.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
a) Essential
* Educated to A level standard (or equivalent) as a minimum.
* Knowledge/experience of SAGE payroll.
* Knowledge/experience of SAGE Accounts.
* Intermediate Excel skills
b) Desirable
* Degree
* Knowledge/experience of the financial environment/commission
PACKAGE
* Full time, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday,
* Salary range: £18,000 to £23,000 dependent on knowledge and experience
* Parking
* Discretionary bonuses
* Pension
