Job Title: Litigation Assistant - Serious and Catastrophic Injury Paralegal

Location: Manchester, M22

Salary: £15,800 salary with exceptional training and development

Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm on a Friday (1 hour lunch)

Our client is a top 200 Law firm that specialises in personal injury. They are LEXCEL and Law Society accredited and are a Legal 500 Leading Firm for both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. Six of their Partners are members of the Law Society Specialist Personal Injury Panel and one Partner is a member of the Law Society Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.

Job Role:

The company is offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a senior solicitor, on a one to one basis, dealing with a catastrophic caseload. This role offers superb coaching and mentoring for your onward career, as you will get the opportunity to deal with multi-track and litigated work. You will also get to make a real difference to people who have suffered life changing injuries.

The role has a real chance to lead to a Training Contract. The company offer Training Contracts on a rolling start and you will have regular meetings with your supervisor to discuss your progress.

The Candidate:

  • An LPC graduate, ideally with some personal injury experience.
  • Excellent academics are preferred but candidates will still be considered if they can demonstrate strong drive, ambition and desire to help injured people.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and competent telephone manner
  • Drive and determination to succeed
