Bespoke Joinery - Estimating - AutoCAD - Commercial Fit-out
c£30,000K basic (dependent on experience)

This company is privately owned, and is involved in the design and manufacture of high end, bespoke joinery / furniture solutions for the commercial fit-out sector. All of their projects are bespoke and all production and installations are managed in-house and over the last 20+ years they have achieved consistent sales and profit growth.

This appointment is part of the next phase in the organisation's development and offers genuine career progression for the right person, with the opportunity to become part of the senior management team in due course.

Candidates with experience of any of the following are likely to be the most relevant:

- Bespoke Joinery
- Estimating
- AutoCAD
- Commercial Fit-out

Key responsibilities:

- Estimating, costing, compiling and reviewing quotations
- Production of design drawings using AutoCAD
- Project Co-ordination - assessing material and labour requirements, planning and co-ordinating project timelines
- Identify and monitor any risks associated with project delivery
- Monitor costs to ensure efficient delivery / installation of each project
- Building relationships and liaising with main contractors, suppliers and team members

Applicants should ideally have one or more of the following:

- Good technical knowledge / understanding of materials and production processes in any of the following: joinery; bespoke manufacturing; commercial fit-out
- Estimating and costing experience with a knowledge of tender and proposal development
- AutoCAD - capable of doing and interpreting design drawings
- Project co-ordination skills
- Customer focused with the ability to manage relationships at all levels
- Logical approach, thorough, good IT skills
- Personable, can-do attitude
