Position: Supply and Production Planner (Temp to Perm)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £120 - £150 per day
An exciting FMCG company is looking for an experienced Supply and Production Planner to join their business on a temp-to-perm basis in Milton Keynes. It would be an advantage if you have experience within food manufacturing as a Production Planner and/or Scheduler.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create daily operational plans
* Cost effective planning using customer orders and available forecast information
* Production, materials management, engineering and quality control and keeping the lines going at optimum levels. Maintaining output and quality on all products
* Maximise production runs and team efficiency
* Increase production output whilst reducing losses, and minimizing inventory holdings
* Responsible for department quality, cost, Health and Safety, absence and performance, KPI targets
* Maintain output, quality on all products and controlled statistical process
* Liaise with all internal departments as required
* Maintain a consistently high service level
Key Skills:
* A strong understanding of FMCG Supply Chain and Production Planning
* Proven user of Microsoft Office and user of SAP or ERP / MRP systems
* Relevant experience/training for planning and materials controls
* Problem solving and root cause analysis is essential
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to priorities and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
