Mid Weight Designer

Our Oxford based client is currently looking for a Middleweight-Senior Designer to join their creative team. We are looking for a solid all-round designer with strong conceptual skills and the ability to produce highly polished designs for both print and web.

The role will involve work on a breadth of projects covering all aspects of print and web for clients ranging from multi-nationals to local start-ups. As an integral part of a busy design studio, you'll be working collaboratively with other designs to produce award-winning work.

Being a self-starter you will be able to take a brief and run with it, generating ideas and concepts and turning these into highly polished final designs. You'll need a minimum of 3-4 years' experience and ideally a design related degree. We'll also be looking for proficiency in the standard tools of the trade - Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Knowledge of programs such as Adobe After Effects, InVision, InVision Craft and Sketch would be greatly beneficial.

Skills and experience required:
*Outstanding visual design skills, good illustration skills and strong conceptual thinking skills
*3-4 years' of creative design agency or client-side experience
*A Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or related subject
*A creative portfolio of proven experience
*Experience and passion for both print and digital design
*Experience designing responsive and mobile sites
*Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other appropriate mediums to produce effective design solutions
*Have a good eye for detail and strong typographic, design and layout skills
*Be an excellent communicator and able to work as part of a team
*To be passionate about the quality of their work, and embrace new technology
*Keep up to date with graphic and digital trends
*An understanding of the print production process
*Be a team player
