We have an exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At LanguageLine Solutions we currently have an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant​ to join our expanding team based at Canary Wharf, London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a highly competitive salary of £25,000-£27,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Recruitment Consultant​ role

- Overall responsibility for ensuring an adequate supply of freelance Face to Face interpreters is maintained to cater for both new business demands and to meet SLAs with existing clients.

- Leading and directing recruitment team members to ensure maximum efficiency and output.

- To complete data analysis on fulfilment levels to aid and assist improvement of the service.

Key Responsibilities of our Recruitment Consultant​ will include:

- Day to day management of the Recruitment team to include work load distribution, performance/absence management, queries and escalated issues. Ensuring the team meet their monthly target of 14 interpreter activations and average 6 day turnaround SLA.

- Acting as an ambassador for LanguageLine - building networks with course providers, industry contacts and organising recruitment trips as required. Liaising with marketing to produce recruitment advertising materials.

- Developing creative and innovative sourcing strategies, guiding the team on alternative methods and difficult needs. Managing subscriptions to job boards, advertising campaigns etc.

- Ownership of the Language Assessment Process. Escalation point for borderline scores.

- Production of monthly management/recruitment progress reports, supplier payment reports and any ad hoc reports that may be required.

- Assisting the Operations Analyst Manager with researching potential new business areas, completing analysis on volume of interpreters required, approximate cost to the business and possible implementation time.

- Training, mentoring and setting standards for new team members, leading by example. 

- Ensuring all areas of the Business Process Manual are updated and maintained to reflect active practice.

- Reviewing and analysing interpreter updates on a daily basis to ascertain effects to the business and take necessary preventative action.

- To assist the Operations Analyst Manager with daily/weekly and monthly fulfilment reporting as and when required.

- To complete any other addition reporting regarding recruitment and or fulfilment as requested by both the Operations Analyst Manager and Operations Director.

- Exposure to busy/high pressure role

- Team management experience

- Recruitment experience

- Data Analyst experience

- Process driven with strong attention to detail

- Independent worker willing to take responsibility

- Excellent analytical skills with ability to rationalise findings

- A sound knowledge of the interpreting industry

- Strong excel skills

- Establish credibility with freelance interpreter base/industry contacts
