Sales Executive – SALFORD
£14,717 + commission

We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives. The holder of this post will play a key role in ensuring that we fulfil our aim of maintaining our position as market leaders in the field of first aid training at work by achieving sales through the provision of seamless and excellent customer care.
They will:
- Work within a contact centre environment and support the achievement of key performance indicators; including but not exclusive to call abandon rate percentages and call-answer delays.
Optimise inbound and outbound call and email opportunities through the promotion of first aid courses and associated products.
- Achieve revenue based KPIs by converting first aid training enquiries from initial contact through to order booking.
- Work as an effective problem solver, ensuring any issues are dealt with in a professional manner.
- Ensure high standards of customer service through the achievement of call and email quality targets.
- Ensure databases instrumental to the completion of role responsibilities are maintained and up to date.
- Work as a member of the sales team; undertaking any other duties within the overall scope of the post.
- Uphold the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and to work within the Society's Equal Opportunities policy
- Contribute to the maintenance of the ISO 9001 and Investors in People standards.
You will be/have...
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Proficient in IT and databases
- Experience of working in a sales environment
- Familiar with quality systems
- Experience of using computers as an integral part of work
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and databases
