They are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join the team based in Preston, Lancashire.

The Role
Our client is looking for someone experienced in B2B sales and account management to join the hard working sales department as a Sales Account Manager. The main responsibilities of the role will be to develop a database of existing clients, from Large SME’s to Corporate clients. Identifying opportunities to cross sell additional services, recruitment packages. The Sales Account Manager position will also include:

  • Identifying and calling prospective clients
  • Presenting and selling confidently and professionally to clients
  • Generating a client pipeline Relationship building
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Negotiating deals
  • Developing key accounts and repeat business
  • Research - clients, competitors
  • Accurate upkeep of all ongoing sales activities in the CRM system
  • Provide clear reporting on revenue, figures, activity and sales forecasts on a weekly basis

The Candidate
To be considered for our client's Sales Account Manager position, they are looking for candidates who have the following skills and experience:

  • MUST have experience of B2B sales/account management
  • Have some experience and knowledge of Recruitment
  • Have the desire to exceed targets with a hard-work attitude to get you there
  • Have strong interpersonal skills including a professional work ethic
  • Be keen to learn and develop a long-term career in sales
  • Be comfortable with cold calling
  • Be a confident communicator and a relationship builder
  • Have a calm head when under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Have good written grammar and excellent verbal communication skills
