Key Stage 2 Teacher - Flintshire School

Excell Supply is Wales’ leading Education Specialist based in Mold, Flintshire. We are currently recruiting for an intervention teacher to work with small groups of year six pupils in order to further their progress in Maths, English, Science and Welsh. Although there will be no planning element to the role, the successful candidate will be required to complete daily assessments.

This role is part time, working 2 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)
  • Experience of delivering Key Stage 2
  • The ability to create a stimulating classroom environment, plan effectively and maintain systems and records
  • A strong understanding of child development and the ability to meet children’s individual needs along with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Good classroom management skills
  • A good understanding of Welsh
