Salary: £37,700 - £43,800 + company benefits

Working hours: Permanent, Full-time. 37 hours per week

Our client is a wholly owned company of Cheshire East Council delivering bereavement and other sevices. They are currently recruiting for a Building and Special Projects Manager to manage a team of Electricians and Handypersons in order to deliver a high level of service to their customers.

As Building and Special Projects Manager you will be responsible for overseeing service and productivity improvements across a range of building trades whilst ensuring that activities are undertaken in a safe and compliant way and delivered in accordance with the needs of a diverse range of customers. Other duties to include:

• Support, develop and supervise staff including work allocation

• Budget control

• Engage with customers to influence the service and identify new business opportunities

• Ensure services delivered to customers meet the desired quality standards

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who is a time served craftsperson with a strong commercial focus. Ideally, you will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and have a sound knowledge of the sector. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential as well as, a full UK driving licence and computer literacy.
