This company has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Account Manager to join their Retail Division. This is a new role in addition to their growing eCommerce team and it will be desk based in Leeds or Manchester with occasional customer visits.

The ideal candidate will have business to business experience dealing with marketplaces.

You will be responsible for assisting and developing accounts in the sales channel.

Key Responsibilities:

- To assist with facilitating communications with resellers, improving client utilization, managing account profiles and preparing and delivering presentations for clients.
- Process outbound EDI files.
- Assist with providing sales report information containing channel activity and results.
- Ensure accounts within the channel are properly serviced in order for the company to achieve sales and revenue goals & continue to grow the Etail channel year on year with marketplaces.
- Handle account profiles with their marketplaces which include performance history as well as customer forecasts.
- Maintain good working relationships with senior key account contacts therefore becoming a contact for one of their marketplaces account and assist with the account's day to day running.
- Deliver pricing and promotional proposals and other business endeavours
- Work directly with the company's internal department for channel development
- To monitor competitor activity within the channel
- Pro-actively develop business and product/brand growth in target eCommerce markets
- Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with all internal contacts and suppliers
- Maintain high levels of appropriate product and service knowledge.
- To effectively manage own diary
- Maintain knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to better promote the brands position

Qualifications / Relevant Experience:

Essential
- Two years Account Management experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Sales experience gained within a telephone or face to face role in Business to Business
- eCommerce business to business experience

Desirable
- Consumer products sales experience would be beneficial
- Familiarity with Etrading, Keywords, and Search Engine Optimisation
- Although office based the role should involve some time visiting customers and occasionally attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.
