Our Trainer will be responsible for…
Delivering Training and Development to all levels of management and employees as directed by the training team management.
Your Key Responsibilities as the Trainer include:
Training Delivery
• Delivery of various training initiatives, training needs and gap analysis initiatives
• Design and deliver courses to meet individual and company objectives
• Assist in answering enquiries effectively, efficiently and accurately
• Complete relevant records and distribute
• Produce handouts for training courses
• Use the learning management system to track training and development activity
• Assist in co-ordinating and keeping on track the company wide Induction process
• Evaluate training and development programmes on a regular basis to ensure that the courses remain fit for purpose
• Help line management and operators solve specific training issues and problems
• Ensure that equality and diversity is considered in training delivery and internal course creation
Financial
• Ensure that the group expenses policy is adhered to
Other
• Ensure you maintain up-to-date knowledge on the subject areas taught
• Carry out other tasks as required by the training team line management
Our successful Area Trainer will have:
• CoTC/EPOC
• NEBOSH General Certificate Qualified
• PTLLS Qualified
• Experience of delivering Environmental, Health and Safety Training in the Waste and/or Quarrying sectors

You should be able to display:
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be a self-starter with the ability to work using own initiative
• Knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint is essential as well as knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable
• Support and motivate others
• Open and clear communicator
• Empathetic to others' views and needs
• Set personal goals and deadlines and plans to deliver effectively
• Deliver creative and ingenious ideas for change
• To stay away from home on a regular occasion
• Hold a current driving License
