Logistics & Supply Specialist

Logistics & Supply Specialists are sought across the UK and overseas, to join this government-backed organisation and its apprenticeship training programme.

No experience or qualifications are needed - anyone between the ages of 16 - 31 can apply.

The organisation is rated an "Outstanding" Apprenticeship provider by OFSTED, and training opportunities are now available. Successful individuals will join their Logistics, Supply and Warehouse apprenticeship training programme, and begin a longstanding career in the forces.

Roles are available in the Logistics area of the organisation. Supply, storage, warehouse and distribution specialists are responsible for the stock management, accounting, storage and movement of forces equipment using the latest logistics methods and information technology. Logistics & Supply Specialists are a key element of logistics within the forces and play a vital role in their operations.

TITLE: Logistics & Supply Specialist
LOCATION: Across the UK (overseas placements are also on offer)
SALARY: £17.5k during training, rising to circa £18k and beyond, average earnings within the organisation are circa £30k, and could be even higher with promotion

As a Logistics & Supply Specialist you will progress through the following:
-10 weeks of recruit training based in Buckinghamshire, designed to help you adjust to a military environment
-Specialist trade training in Logistics and Supply, allowing you to gain a QCF (previously NVQ) Level 2 qualification in Warehousing and Storage
-Additional training opportunities and ongoing career development

-Be aged 16-31
-Be physically fit
-Be a UK resident for the last 5 years
-Be a citizen of the United Kingdom , Republic of Ireland or have dual UK/other nationality
