Busy Bees has a sizzling opportunity for an Assistant Chef to join the team based at Bedford Elstow and this post is permanent and part time.

 Monday to Friday PM only 2.00-5.30pm (17.5 hours).

Busy Bees in Bedford is a purpose built nursery situated within quiet surroundings in Progress Park – Elstow. We are ideally located next to the Park & Ride and accessible from the A6, A421, M1 and A1. We welcome children from 6wks – 5 years and all of our play rooms are bright, spacious and welcoming and all offer a wide range of toys and activities to create a fun and stimulating environment. Our beautiful garden areas are safe and secure and the children can explore all day long!

We are seeking an Assistant Chef who has already had experience in working in the world of childcare or who is seeking a new opportunity within a Nursery environment. Our Assistant Chef reports to both the Nursery Manager and the Chef.

Our children have various dietary needs and so the Assistant Chef needs to pay attention to the different menus that need to be prepared as well as the snacks and drinks requested. We are looking for a team player who enjoys working with and for children and who is kind, and friendly. The ongoing need for the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness is essential.
