Are you enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic? Looking for a new experience within social care? Then we have a great opportunity for you to gain experience to work with an interesting young man with autism and complex learning difficulties within his own home. He requires 3-1 support due to the potential for behaviours that challenge. He requires support with daily living tasks, personal care and to access activities. Staff workover a 24 hour period 7 days a week including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. It is essential that you are able to drive as the individual has his own car.
This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to somebody’s life and gain experience working with in social care. Experience of working with vulnerable adults in a positive behavioural support environment is desirable. But, what is more important is a ‘can do’ attitude, a solid values base and the ability to work as part of a team. Please note all roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check of which the cost will be met by PSS.
