The job of the Purchasing Administrator is extremely important and requires a candidate with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and have strong prioritisation skills. The Purchasing Administrator is the main contact for all purchasing requirements for the brand.

The Purchasing Administrator role will involve, but is not limited to:

Reception:

> Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and polite manner;
> Ensure all visitors are signed in and are issued a Visitor Pass (if needed);
> Answer incoming telephone calls from internal and external customers;
> Maintaining an excellent, well organised and presentable Reception area.

Main Responsibilities:

> Creating purchase orders in Sage 200 and emailing onto national and international suppliers;
> Maintain all purchase requisitions and order for all facility matters;
> Chasing deliveries of products, shipping times, lead times;
> Requesting pre-shipment samples when required and arranging the testing of samples;
> arrange importation freight and instructing clearance agents to clear the goods; 
> Ensuring certificate of analysis are received and input into word;
> Producing product labels;
> Toll company relationships and arrangement of movement of stock;
> Packaging procurement;
> Maintaining supplier lot numbers spread sheet;
> Advising the warehouse of deliveries due in and work required once good arrive;
> Filling pre shipment samples away;
> Transferring stock in sage once work has been completed;
> Quarterly Stock Takes.
