We have an exciting opportunity for a Tender Manager to join our team based in Bolton. The role will be a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum.

Tender Manager – Role Overview

A rare opportunity has arisen within mydentist to join our established commissioning team as a Tender Manager.  This is a new position created as a result of our continued growth, and will be an integral part of the contracts and commissioning team.  The Tender Manager will be responsible for project managing and producing key tender documentation whilst building and developing lasting relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.

This role will be based at our Head Office however there will be extensive travel and a company car or allowance will be included as part of the benefits package.

Salary and package: Up to £40k* dependent on experience, company car and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities of our Tender Manager:

- Works closely with Commissioning team to defend existing contracts and identify any new opportunities under tender/procurement.

- Monitors all portals, links and email alerts for relevant tender defence and growth contracts identified for open procurement.

- Sets up, manage and deliver detailed project plans to ensure all key information is sourced and completed on time using clear managed project management techniques.

- Works cohesively with key stakeholders to ensure all tender questions are bespoke, relevant, correct, answered full, accurately using innovation and quality metrics wherever possible.

- Works with Finance and Operations teams to produce relevant P&Ls

- Works closely with Estates and Facilities regarding property relating to bids.

- Liaises with external agencies where required to source expert market research and input where justified.

- Ensures all tendering documentation content is reviewed, proofed and formatted correctly prior to internal review and submission.

- Conducts off-site visits where necessary to gather information, speak to patients, meet third parties, marketing to ensure the tenders are of the highest quality and meet patient need.

- Provides regular updates and progress reports (including financial data) of tenders underway or in process.

- Works cohesively with all relevant teams to ensure tenders (including NHS contracts) are fully understood, where complexity or bespoke terms exist thus ensuring teams transition and manage them effectively.

- Maintain and be up to date with all required legislation required as part of the tender process.

Key Skills & Experience required of our Tender Manager

You are someone who thrives under pressure whilst maintaining high standards throughout all aspects of their role and is able to build and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This exciting and challenging new role would be perfect for individuals who have experience with NHS tender processes or experience of tender processes within other industries but within a procurement environment.  You would also ideally have experience writing tender/business reports and also some experience of analysing Profit & Loss accounts and financial data.
