FirstFound, the UK’s Leading Search Engine Consultants are currently looking for an enthusiastic Junior WordPress Developer and a Mid-Weight WordPress Developer to join our busy team based in Manchester.
FirstFound was formed in Manchester in 2000, with the goal of helping local businesses to attract customers using the internet. As online business and search engine optimisation became more important, we grew to become the UK’s leading search engine consultants. We are a full service digital agency that provides website design and development, SEO, PPC, content writing and social media marketing for our clients.
Key Responsibilities of our Web Developer include:
- Building and deploying websites and web based applications
- Development of both template and bespoke sites
- Liaising with designers, developers and members of the team
- Liaising with customers
To become our Web Developer you must have the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years WordPress frontend development.
- Have fluency of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, MYSQL & PHP
- Some experience of Zurb Foundation framework, Sass and Grunt.
- You will receive on-going training to become a fully functioning member of the team.
- Candidates applying for the role of Mid-Weight developer should have a minimum of 3-4 years WordPress front and backend development experience.
- You should have a proven background of customisation of WordPress sites, eCommerce development with WooCommerce.
- Fluency in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, MYSQL & PHP is required along with experience of Zurb Foundation framework, Sass and Grunt.
In return our Web Developer will receive a salary of £18,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience plus:
- 28 days Holiday increasing 1 day each year to 33 days

- Working Hours 9am till 5.30pm Mon-Thursday, 9am – 5pm Friday
