FINTEC recruit is seeking a Laboratory Manager for our Engineering client based in Preston. This is a permanent job position with a salary range of £34,000 to £35,000, plus benefits. Our client is an international business, offering specialist Research and Testing services within the building and construction industries.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Manager your responsibilities will include the following:-
Daily operational management of the Laboratory
Conformity to the requirements for ISO 9001 (BSI) and ISO 17025 (UKAS)
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Providing technical expertise during on site customer visits and meetings, and actively supporting training events whenever required
The ideal candidate for the Laboratory Manager role will have:-
A Degree in a mechanical engineering or related subject
Previous Experience in working to both ISO 9001 (BSI) and ISO 17025 (UKAS)quality standards ideally in a calibration laboratory with accreditation in the measurement fields of temperature, pressure or electrical.
