Randstad Education are seeking a Learning Mentor support Year 7 transitions for a school in Manchester.

Requirements:
Passion and drive to support and work with young people
Experience of working with young people
To be able to build rapport with students quickly and maintain a high standard of discipline when required
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Responsibilities:
Support Year 7 transitions
Ensure all students can fully access the curriculum
Support students during lessons throughout the next academic year.
To form a climate for learning in which students are encouraged to achieve and attain in all areas.
To act as a positive influence for the pupils of the school and to motivate those who are disengaged.
To help pupils overcome their barriers to learning.
