Job Elements: -
• Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team.
• Working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives.
• Working within a planned maintenance environment.
• Safe working of all plant and equipment within Health & Safety requirements.
• Maximum machine availability at least cost, through effective and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• A thorough understanding of the manufacturing process which allows complete integration of engineers, with production staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Formal mechanical training. (Time served or a mechanical qualification)
• Experience with maintaining production equipment ideally within a heavy industrial environment, preferably metals or chemicals
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with mobile plant
• High level of self-motivation and time management skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload around production requirements
• Flexibility with Shifts inc. overtime
