A Blue Chip Plant Hire Company is looking for a Training Manager, duties are as follows :-

Key Responsibilities 
Responsibilities include managing and coordinating a team who are conducting but are not limited to the following:

• Conducts regular training needs analysis in order to determine the most relevant and cost effective training solutions


• Work with Plant Managers to identify the training requirements needed for their team


• Contributes to the design, development and production of training materials, documents and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content and delivery to meet the specific needs of the business


• Assists with the induction and training for new operators and staff 


• Supports Plant Managers with training needs 


• Liaise with Plant Trainers to ensure that training is consistent and being delivered to a high standard.


• Evaluates and reviews training materials and tools utilised on the regions, updates as appropriate to ensure maximum effectiveness 


• Understands the needs of the business to ensure legal compliance training is organised and delivered cost effectively e.g. health and safety training


• Works with our NVQ provider to support and coach trainees on NVQ training schemes; identifies any additional training requirements 


• Works closely with the Plant Managers to ensure thorough implementation and evaluation of the training programmes 


• Manages and maintains training information on the database / system for training reporting and record maintenance 


Job Dimensions 
Responsible for geographical regions; London, Manchester Newport and Aberdeen.

• Experience of designing, developing and delivering training programmes 
• Experience of conducting training needs analysis 
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners 
• Ability to use MS office applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook 
• High attention to detail 
• Excellent organisation skills - able to prioritise 
• Flexible and adaptable approach
