Electrical Engineer/Health and Safety Lead

Our client is looking for an electrical engineer based at their Factory site in Bala, North Wales, and have an exciting opportunity for a unique position within its engineering department.  The Role is primarily for an Electrical Engineer with a secondary role as the Company’s Health and Safety Lead.  Are you the right person to join their team and make a difference?

Reports to: Engineering Manager/Site Director

The main focus of the role will initially be to take on a major re-wiring project throughout the whole site.  The successful candidate must have C&G 2392 Test and Inspect Certificate to be able to self-certify the work.  The role will then continue with responsibility for electrical maintenance and repair throughout the site alongside other more general maintenance tasks. 

The secondary arm to the role is that of Health and Safety Lead, working alongside Heads of Departments to drive the Company Health and Safety function.  Ideally you will have some previous experience of the Health and Safety environment and it would be ideal if you have a NEBOSH certificate or at least be willing to work towards it.  They key attribute we are looking for is a genuine passion to guide us regarding safe working practices, standard operating procedures and legal compliance together with a real commitment to the safety of our workforce.  

Salary range £28 – 38K per annum.

Holidays 20 days per year plus bank holidays
