LSA Technology and Performing Arts College are creating new social media roles in the ICT team. Living wage employer at £7.65 per hour the school is one of the largest schools in Lancashire with 1400-1700 pupils. It’s on the Fylde coast it has been regarded as “Outstanding” and its mission statement “A Learning community in Pursuit of excellence” is well regarded and deserved.

1)Using various social media and press outlets you'll be responsible for the web promotion and publicity of the school and its achievements by liaising with senior managers, heads of departments, students and governors.

2)You’ll support general ICT provision across the school by assisting the technician team supporting teaching and learning across the campus, including the maintenance of equipment and technical advice when required.

Your skills: the need to be creative and confident when dealing with people in relation to your role and issues relating to supporting the development of ICT.

Great literacy and communication skills. Imagination, with the eye for accuracy and detail.

Experience and or skill working within an environment associated with web design and site maintenance.

Min 30 hours per week term time 44 weeks per year. This apprenticeship is paid at living wage £7.65 per hour. Hours are a School day, in the main with additional hours during performances or activities happening at school.

Its a Fantastic opportunity to work and undertake a level 2 or 3 ICT NVQ qualification  delivered 1-1 on site by schools occupationally competent tutors.
