Port Services Operatives

We are looking to recruit a motivated and hard working individual with excellent driving skills to assist with the efficient movement of cargo throughout the terminal and to and from the vessels.  Baggage handling as and when required.

We are looking for an individual who will be accustomed to working within a team, however they will be required to use their own initiative on occasions and have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst complying with all aspects of health and safety and site regulations.

The role involves working a shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays and applicants must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.

The successful candidates must possess a full clean driving licence due to the nature of the work and be aged 21+.  A valid certification of competence for tugmasters (RTITB or ITSSAR) and/or HGV1 would be advantageous.

Previous experience of working within a busy port environment would be desirable.
