Newcastle High School for Girls - a vibrant, exciting and challenging new school - is seeking to appoint a Senior Faculty Technician from 1st September 2016. NHSG is the leading school for girls in the north of England and part of the Girls’ Day School Trust – the largest network of independent girls’ schools in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the post holder will line manage a team of two technicians. The faculty technician team is responsible for all faculty administration and procurement and for supporting lessons, experiments and practical examinations in the faculty. The successful candidate will have extensive laboratory experience and possess a recognized science technician qualification. A flexible approach, strong organisational and leadership skills and a high degree of IT literacy are also essential in the role.
