Due to accelerated growth an exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Manager to join an award-winning company with bathroom and tile showrooms throughout the UK, and a thriving online business. Based nationwide, the successful Sales Manager will earn a salary of £32,500 OTE £37,500 plus car allowance of £2500.

As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all retail stores assigned to you achieve their monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through effective leadership, management and training. You will be supporting and reporting directly to your regional/national sales manager and providing regular performance reports to show how each site under your portfolio is performing.

As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all retail stores assigned to you achieve their monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through effective leadership, management and training. You will be supporting and reporting directly to your regional/national sales manager and providing regular performance reports to show how each site under your portfolio is performing.
The main duties of the Sales Manager will include:
- Ability to motivate, lead, coach and mentor store managers in all aspects of their roles.
- Provide sales training and development for store managers and their teams.
- Prepare sales reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Assisting with recruiting where applicable.
- Covering store management sickness/absence as required.
- To ensure store managers reach their stores targets through effective management of KPI’s.
- Maintain customer service levels and quality in-line with company standards throughout our stores.
- Provide customer service training and development for departmental managers and their teams.
- To carry out weekly and monthly store audits to ensure company merchandising standards are being maintained by store managers.
- To carry out health and safety audits to ensure stores are compliant to legal/company health & safety standards.
The successful Sales Manager will have:
- Full Driving license.
- Management experience.
- Experience of managing multiple retail sites with large turnovers.
- Experienced in performance management and HR.
- IOSH Trained – This is not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
