The role
The Mandatory Comms will:
*Lead the development and implementation of a multi channel customer relationship strategy ensuring alignment to strategic plans and objectives.
*Lead, inspire and develop a team of marketing professionals to deliver best in class marketing campaigns.
*Be responsible for the marketing budget, monitoring and maximising return on investment.
*Build and develop lasting relationships across the group to influence and align customer contact plans.
*Lead, manage and develop the team.
*Lead and implement the delivery of an effective and engaging multi channel marketing strategy to deliver brand, acquisition and retention strategies.
*Accountable for the on-going delivery of the below the line regulatory contact programme. Ensuring all customer communications adhere to brand/regulatory requirements and are delivered in line with the agreed contact schedule.
*Create and deploy marketing targets, measurement and evaluation process for below the line activity.
*Be responsible for assigning, controlling and reconciling the marketing budget and spend. Ensure the provision of timely and accurate management reports.
*Identify and engage with external agencies and suppliers, identifying efficiencies and developing strategy.
*Develop relationships with Risk, Legal and Group Policy to ensure marketing guidelines are adhered to.
*Be fully accountable for below the line activity.
About you
You will have;
* Proven experience in Financial Services
*Leadership experience, with evidence of successfully direct line management experience and engaging a wider matrix team
*Proven experience of defining and implementing CRM / direct mail/ segmentation strategies.
*Expert knowledge of all aspects of marketing and branding, particularly in a highly regulated industry.
*Excellence in building relationships with external and internal stakeholders on a day to day basis
*Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
