Chester

Salary: £56,000 per annum + Car Allowance

Permanent – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for an Assistant Director of Property Services on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Chester.

As Assistant Director of Property Sales, you will assist in the delivery of the Corporate Strategy to ‘Redefine Excellence’ in everything that the organisation does. They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic leader to deliver transformational change across the Property Services Team.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the Assistant Director of Property Services will be responsible for:

  • Leading, managing and developing the performance and conduct of all staff in the Property Services Team
  • Working closely with the Management Team of the Group’s commercial in-house contractor to deliver the projected service and financial benefits to the Group.
  • Ensuring the team operates within annual budgets and delivers value for money through the adoption of efficient and effective business processes, service delivery mechanisms and robust procurement.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the other members of the Joint Leadership Team (Executive and Assistant Directors) to ensure that the Association’s corporate objectives are met.

Candidate Requirements:

As the Assistant Director of Property Services, you should have experience in successfully leading and motivating teams, particularly in a time of change. You should have strong business and commercial acumen, be an effective communicator and negotiator and be able to develop and deliver a new vision and strategic direction for the Property Services Team.
