About us: -

We are an ethical developing therapeutic care service within the west midlands region. We have a number of years’ experience both engaging and delivering outcomes or young people who experience complex support and care needs. Due to successful growth and planned expansion we are looking to recruit and work with new residential colleagues.

Colleagues who maintain a professional and vocational approach to engaging and supporting young people, whilst having the aspiration and motivation to work alongside and promote the recovery journey of young people.

Colleagues who believe in supporting young people to enable them to experience a child focused, fulfilling and fun childhood, full of experiences and opportunities. 

Team players who are motivated by supporting young people to live structured, stable, happy and safe lives in a residential setting that promotes family experience.

Colleagues who can contribute positively and consistently to the wellbeing of young people

 

Colleagues joining our team will be required to provide a range of support service and interventions including help with emotional, behavioural and cognitive development of both social and healthy interdependent living skills to young people within the young people’s residential setting.

 

  • These posts will suit people who are prepared to work rotas comprising of early and late shifts covering weekday and weekends
  • We require both Senior and RCW care colleagues for these shit rota’s (shift rota will be across seven days of the week)

 

  • We also require waking night staff on a four on four off basis.
  • We require bank staff who could work flexibly and as is required across all shift patterns

 

This is an emotionally demanding role and colleagues will also need to have the confidence and resilience to safely support challenging behaviours that can present. However, it is also a valuable and rewarding role, that affords a truly moral reward and positive professional experience.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all colleagues to share this commitment by working the legislation, guidance, processes and practices in order to ensure we prioritise and maintain the safety and welfare of young people within our care at all times.

Applicants must be age 21 and over, have a full deriving licence, access to a vehicle and have business class insurance.

Care colleagues will need to have a level 3 Diploma in children and young person’s workforce (essential for senior roles) or be prepared to work towards this whilst in post.

Full role relevant training will be provided and all colleagues will have access to continued professional development and support.

All potential colleagues will require an enhanced DBS to be undertaken
