Fixed Term Contract until March 2017 – 35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a full-time Support Worker on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Liverpool.

The service a homeless hostel for men and women with complex support needs. The hostel has 36 beds and 6 move on accommodation within the grounds.

As Support Worker, your role is a key position in providing a high-quality support service to clients including assessing individual support needs and working with the client on a mutually agreed support programme to empower them to independent living.

Candidate Requirements:

Applications are welcome from everybody but note the organisation is currently underrepresented in female support workers, they have a mixed gender client base and as they need to provide a tailored support covering females facing multiple challenges, would encourage females who meet the essential criteria to apply for a job in an attempt to address this underrepresentation.

For this Support Worker role, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise workloads and meet necessary deadlines.

You will be a willing, confident and customer focused individual with an ability to work well within a team and maintain positive and co-operative working relationships with partners.

This role is based on shift patterns which are; 7.15 am – 2.45 and 1.45 – 9.15pm and cover a 7 day a week service.
