EBD Core Skills Teacher

Have you got experience of teaching secondary aged pupils?
Are you adaptable and able to deliver a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4 level?

Responsibilities:

- teaching a variety of subjects across the curriculum including core skills (English, Maths and Science) and humanities (pupils are in small groups with TA support and working at lower levels)

- Managing pupil behaviour and promoting an inclusive and safe environment.

- increasing levels of attainment and setting young people up to succeed.

- planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting of work

- liaising with staff, parents and outside agencies

Requirements:
- experienced at teaching secondary aged pupils

- calm and collected under pressure
- able to build rapport with young people quickly
- be sympathetic to the varying backgrounds and individual needs of the pupils
