Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

NESCOT college in partnership with Founder Mr. Enam Ali MBE of Le Raj are pleased to announce our new Le Raj Catering Academy based in Surrey Epsom, together we will be training the chefs and front of house staff to become the stars of the future. You will be part of a team that supports high quality education by providing outstanding food and service to the pupils and staff and the general public.

We are looking for a gifted and hardworking Tandoori/Currey Chef, who has passion to share and develop the skills of others and who can bring fresh ideas to the kitchen. Your Job will be to assist the Executive Chef in preparing the Menu, cooking and presenting traditional and modern Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine as per the retraunts requirements.

As a Tandoori/Curry Chef you will be expected to organise the kitchen, run the section during service and manage inventories and cleanliness and be able to manage product costings etc.

You must have strong all round kitchen skills as all items are produced in-house from scratch. Ideally you will have minimum 4 years' experience in a similar standard Indian restaurant with an excellent knowledge of regional Indian cuisine with specific expertise in the preparation, blending and marinating of regional spices for use in curry and Tandoori dishes.

You naturally will be working under pressure in a busy environment offering high customer service, to ensure relevant food and hygiene standards are maintained within the kitchen at all times.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Asian restaurant or a similar position and must be Fluent in English.
