Nursery Assistant Deputy

Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust (LNTCDT) have a vacancy for a Nursery Assistant Deputy to support the management and further development of Linskill Nursery from its premises at the Linskill Centre, North Shields. The role involves providing high quality, flexible childcare for families within the local community and ensuring the day to day operation of the nursery to the highest standards, ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for young children.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting a successful nursery in a senior role and proven experience of line management of staff. They must also be qualified to Level 3 or above and have a good knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations.

Experience in staff supervision, EYFS planning and observation and communicating effectively, is also essential for this role.

The post is 40 hours per week and £17,368 per annum.

All job offers with LNTCDT are conditional on satisfactory DBS check, references and a probationary period of three months.
