Graduate Technical Sales up to 45K OTE+excellent benefits

Exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic technical sales person, ideally with some engineering or technical background experience.

This company is an established provider to the Industrial Electronics and Communications industries, providing contract engineering and manufacturing services to clients within a number of industry sectors, but primarily in Rail and communications.

The company offers a competitive salary of up to 45K OTE and benefits package including a car, company commission scheme, life assurance and the opportunity to really assist with the growth of the business.

Job purpose:

To develop and enhance the company's sales performance within their growing engineering practice; selling contract manufacturing solutions and onsite services to their established network of clients. Applying technical experience to sales expertise to provide a 'one-stop' solution for their customers. Collaborating with the sales team with bids and tenders for new clients from a technical and commercial perspective.

Responsibilities

- The development of new customer opportunities across a broad spectrum of area and products
- Development of long-term customer relationships through the management and interpretation of their requirements.
- Liaison with their design department to determine customer specifications and requirements
- Convincing clients that their products or services meets and satisfies their specification and scope in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- Negotiation of tenders and contract terms and conditions to satisfy both customer and company requirements.
- Providing after-sales support services and technical back up as required;
- Maintaining sales and meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets.
- Ensuring that company profit margins are met or exceeded.
- Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;

Qualifications & experience:

- To be successful you will have a sound track record of delivering sales and services within a technical environment.
- Relevant technical qualifications; ideally degree or HND level as a minimum.
- Excellent IT skills, knowledge of CRM databases.
