The Role

This is a very exciting role in a quickly expanding part of our business. You will work with the National Manager of our TALKAdoption services to develop, co-ordinate and deliver our very successful therapeutic camps, short breaks and workshops for adopted children and young people. You will also be responsible for supporting staff in organising the work of the various teams and act as deputy to our National Manager.

The successful candidate will be CQSW, Dip SW qualified or equivalent and registered with the relevant professional body. You will also have experience of working with children and families, teams and supervising staff or students.

Knowledge of the Adoption and Children Acts are essential with a sound understanding of how adoption affects all parties. A good understanding of child development and attachment theory with an awareness of issues that arise in post adoption work is also crucial in this role.
