The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.  We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives. The organisation operates through 30,000 volunteers and 2,800 staff.

The Red Cross believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn first aid and know how to help in a crisis. Our teaching methods are based on educational research that identifies how people most effectively learn, retain and recall first aid skills.

We provide a range of first aid courses and have developed free online learning resource and apps to make first aid accessible for all.

Our educational aim is to make first aid skills simpler and easier to learn, we hope people will be more confident and willing to use their first aid skills in an emergency.

The Education Campaign Coordinator will report to and work closely with the Head of Education Marketing. They will also work with the rest of the education team and communications and engagement team including marketing, product development, digital, advocacy, media relations, social media and editorial, as well as divisions to ensure an integrated communications offer to the rest of the organisation.

The Education Campaign Coordinator will work to deliver mass reach public impact, and will specifically:

- To develop a campaign plan which is deliverable within timeframes and budget available.

- Management the implementation of the campaign to engage the target audiences in support of key campaign aims.

- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of the campaign.

This is a truly exciting time to join our organisation to help make a really positive contribution to building resilience in communities. If you really care about people in crisis and want to make a difference to lives, come and join us.
