PCI DSS QSA / Security Consultant

This company is the leading vendor-independent information security consultancy, and PCI DSS level-1 certified managed service provider, in the UK. They have an excellent reputation, are financially sound, being profitable and having no debt, and have achieved impressive organic growth averaging 20% for the last 10 years. As part of this growth, they are now looking for an experienced PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA)/ security consultant to deliver and lead engagements, and contribute to the development of this important client service.

They currently consult in a number of areas of information security including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and testing (both technical and social engineering).

You should have extensive experience in PCI DSS, ideally having already qualified as a QSA (or potentially ISA). You should also have the potential, and interest, to contribute to at least one other area of their information security consultancy portfolio.

They expect all their consultants to be CISSP qualified as a minimum. If you do not have this qualification, you will be expected to pass the exam within your first 3-months of employment.

Your communication skills, written, oral, and listening, must be first class. Any authoring of articles/papers etc, and presentation experience could be an advantage. Your time-management skills should also be excellent.

You can be based anywhere in the UK mainland. Your role will involve extensive work on client sites, primarily across the UK but not exclusively so. This is not a contracting role, and therefore you will rarely be in one location for more than a single week, so enjoyment of travel is a bonus.
