Chair and Board members wanted to join the Group Board of Midlands’ based Trident Social Investment Group.

Trident Social Investment Group is an innovative housing provider managing and providing homes to 6,000 people across the Midlands, many of whom are the most vulnerable. With over 50 years of serving disadvantaged neighbourhoods, the Group includes housing associations, charities (Trident Reach) and social enterprise (Dorcas), places a social investment ethos and collaborative community working at its core, enabling it to remain independent.

Chair of Group Board

We are looking for a Chair to lead the Board in setting and delivering the strategic direction whilst ensuring the long-term viability and sustainability of the group.

As Chair you will support both the board and the executive team in meeting its strategic, commercial and financial objectives ensuring at all times we meet our statutory and regulatory obligations in line with the vision and mission of the organisation. In a process of change at Trident we will be moving towards a common board to deal with our group business, therefore you will be expected to allocate sufficient time to meet the expectations required of this role and attendance at the various board and specialist committee meetings.

Your ambassadorial role will seek to network effectively with new and existing stakeholders, promoting the organisation’s work both locally and nationally.

This is a high profile and prestigious appointment demanding a high level of commitment. Senior level executive and leadership experience are essential requirements for this role and you will be expected to evidence and demonstrate these at all stages of the recruitment process.
