Where is it you want me to volunteer?
The role is based at St Peters Church, Vera Avenue, Grange Park, N21 1DN every Friday (except the last friday of each month) between 11am - 1pm.
What will I be doing?
The caf?? runs every Friday for people with dementia and their carers to socialise in an informal setting, offering social activities and entertainment for them.
The role of the volunteer is to assist with setting up the venue, welcoming clients as they arrive, helping with refreshments and socialising with the group.
How much time do you expect me to commit?
We are looking for volunteers who can make a regular weekly commitment to the role. The caf?? runs every week on a Friday (11-1pm except the last Friday of each month). Although the cafe last 2 hours, we would appreciate it if volunteers could arrive a bit earlier to help with setting up and with clearing up at the end).
