Looking for a HR work placement over the University Summer Break that puts the theory into practice?

Or are you an experienced administrator looking for a fixed term placement?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and professional individual to join our HR team on a 4-month HR Summer placement. Based at Linc’s Head Office on Newport Road, Cardiff, you can start your HR career with an organisation that is passionate about people, homes and communities.

What work will I be doing?

Working primarily on the Recruitment team, you will assist with all aspects of recruitment from placing job adverts through to arranging interviews and undertaking pre-employment checks. You will also be required to provide admin support to the wider HR team, including Payroll and Learning & Development and undertake general office duties such as filing, scanning and note taking to ensure a streamlined and customer focused HR Service.

What skills do I need?

You will need excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships with colleagues and potential applicants.

You will be IT proficient and competent at handling high volume administration tasks with excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in an administrative capacity is advantageous but not essential as your willingness to learn and eagerness to develop should shine through.

You will be paid £8 per hour. There is also a great flexi time system available.
