Board of Governors - Vacancies
New Governors are sought to join the Board of the University of St Mark & St John, working closely with the Chair of the Board and the University's Executive to ensure they achieve the two major goals of the new strategic plan: increasing academic reputation and ensuring financial sustainability.
Governors will be professionals of the highest calibre who have the necessary skills, expertise, background and track record to contribute substantially to the University's governing body in delivering its key responsibilities.
The Board is seeking individuals with commercial acumen, expertise and high credibility. Governors must have a strategic outlook, impeccable integrity, and the time and desire to make a difference.
To balance our Board, we would particularly like to hear from people with substantial senior experience in: Finance & Audit, Estates, Planning and Buildings, Higher Education and Business & Enterprise. The higher education sector is keen to increase the number of women on Boards and the University is committed to gender equality and diversity.
