Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. The successful candidate will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant
The Cost Accountant with take ownership of the monthly finished goods and raw material stock counts, product costings and material variance reporting. Specific duties will include:
- Month end stock reconciliation and analysis
- Analysing materials variances and driving accountabilities with other teams and functions
- Maintaining accurate product costings
- Analysing overheads and identifying cost savings
- Working with operations managers to provide accurate information for the annual budget
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of maintenance spend
- Posting accruals and prepayments
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required by the Cost Accountant
The successful applicant for the Cost Accountant role must have the following:
- Minimum part qualified CIMA but will consider those who are qualified by experience
- A strong background in management accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the business
