Established in 2009, Office Equipment Systems (OES) are a privately owned business providing a range of professional IT, print and web design services to businesses across the UK. With Head Offices in Denbigh (North Wales), OES have a close knit team of friendly, client focused and highly trained staff who offer tailored solutions with first class support.

As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll provide both office and field based day to day IT support, administration and maintenance of a variety hardware, network and software products, delivering outstanding levels of service to a diverse range of businesses throughout North Wales and the North West.

Your responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to;

• Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support (networks, hardware and software) to client employees in a timely and professional manner
• Supporting and monitoring existing infrastructure, performing preventative maintenance work, backups and performing other regular support activities
• Liaising with external suppliers and support agencies for ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software
• Installing new software and configuring networks both remotely and onsite
• Suggesting IT solutions to clients’ business problems

To be considered for the role of IT Support Engineer you will have the following experience, qualifications, knowledge and attributes;

• Proven experience in an IT role providing 1st and 2nd line support for networks, servers and infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of;
  • Windows system administration/server build experience (server 2008/2012)
  • Active directory administration/server build experience (server 2008/2012)
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Backup and restore technology
  • VMware administration
  • Firewall / router / switches / APs
  • ISCSI / SAN storage management
  • Exchange 2010/ 2012/Microsoft Office365
  • Printers: MFP / Laser / Inkjet
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

The following qualifications and experience would be advantageous but not essential;

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Experience in cabling (Cat 6)

Salary:                          £16,000 - £20,000 per annum, level dependent on current experience and qualifications

Contracted Hours:         37.5 hours per week

Hours of Work:             Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm. Flexibility will be required to the meet needs of the business and clients.
