Support Workers / Senior Support Workers - Charity

Our client is a local Birmingham based charity, which works to enable people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential. We invite you to join their team of professionals providing an excellent service to clients all over the City.

The charity has a number of vacancies in Birmingham for full and part-time:

Support Workers (Full-time and Part-time)
Salary range: £16,287 - £18,437 p.a. (pro rata for part-time)
Full-time posts are for 36.5 hours per week
Part-time posts are typically for between 20 and 30 hours per week.

You will support people with learning disabilities to be able to live as independently as possible.  You will have experience of supported housing and/or care work, good domestic and budgeting skills, learning disabilities, safeguarding, knowledge of welfare benefits, needs and risk assessments and key working.

We also have two vacancies for:

Senior Support Workers
Salary range: £22,281 - £23,766 p.a.
Full-time (36.5 hours a week)

You will supervise, support and develop a small team of support workers as well as providing some direct client service yourself. You will have experience of supported housing/care work, supervision/management, and good communication, organisation and budgeting skills.
